What do I do if my reservation request is declined or expires?
When a reservation request is declined by the host or expires (hosts have 24 hours to respond), no charge is made for the reservation and you’re free to book another place to stay. You can also find updated information by checking the status of your reservation.
If your reservation request is declined and the listing for the stay shows that it’s still available, the host’s calendar may not be up-to-date or they may want reservations of a different length or time.
Temporary authorizations
The payment method may be temporarily authorized for a charge when you request a reservation, but this authorization is voided and released back to the payment method if your request is declined or expires. We complete a charge only when a reservation request is confirmed. If you need additional help for this, please contact Paradise Getaways to help resolve any issues you may have.
